Highlights
A firm requested reimbursement for the cost of filing a protest for an Army contract award for construction services, contending that the Army delayed correcting its evaluation process even after winning GAO ruled in the protester's favor. GAO held that the Army unduly delayed taking corrective action in response to the meritorious protest and corrective action was only taken after the protester filed comments on the agency report and after GAO expressed concerns regarding the lack of adequate documentation. Accordingly, the protest was sustained, and GAO recommended that the Army reimburse the protester for all reasonable costs associated with pursuing its protest.
